Here at Jen Lucas Designs I create beautiful, fun and easy-to-follow knit & crochet patterns.

I’ve been knitting since 2004 and designing since 2008. I’ve designed lots of knit & crochet patterns for yarn companies and magazines, and I’ve self-published dozens of patterns on Ravelry. I’m also the author of 6 knitting books, including the best-selling book, Sock-Yarn Shawls.

When not knitting and crocheting, I enjoy organizing my life in my various planners, cross stitch, reading and boot camp-style workouts.

I live in Fox River Grove, Illinois, with my husband, Alex.
